Anyone else tried long names under NT with 1.12u?] It's a bug. I will look at it. Basically, the longname code handles _either_ upper case _or_ long names, not both. If you have source, in import.c inserting after the strcat(tempname,"."): strcat(tempname, "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ") makes the longname check also support upper case. This will be corrected in the next release. Drew Derbyshire wrote: > > [CC'ed to UUPC-info because of general interest in bug. Anyone else tried > long names under NT with 1.12u?] > > It's a bug. (ftp.kew.com and www.kew.com are both actually aliases for kendra.ne.mediaone.net, and that name still points at our previous address; it should be corrected within 48 hours.) This version was converted from WFW native format to HTML using Word 97 (not 95, which is our standard format) which produced a much cleaner copy. I've added a small fix to the TAPI code so that it correctly does tone/pulse dialling using the Win95 modem settings. -- THURN is a package which integrates UUPC and (Win)PMail with an automated installation system. Version 11 is available at ftp://ftp.wcape.school.za/pub/msdos/uucp/thurn11.zip updated for UUPC 1.12u.
