I've tried Pegasus before but am looking for these newer user interfaces, so multiple people can access their own mailbox easily on the local area network using their private login versus having to do something special to get their mailboxes private. (i.e. the configuration is one gateway server to uucp, the rest of the computers are connected via Ethernet to the server; I plan to install Netscape Mail Server also but it doesn't have uucp interface or dialup smtp for that matter.) Why don't you try pmpop* (I am not sure about the real name) but it is a uupc -> POp3 interface. Works nicely. Go to shareware.com and search under os/2 for uucp + pop. In a LAN, you can install one server as UUCP gateway. The users in your LAN can use the MS Exchange client with mail4u to transfer mail from/to the UUCP gateway. They don't have to do anything with UUCP. You don't need some expensive mail server like Exchange Server or something similar, and its not necessary to install TCP/IP on every PC. There is a 16 bit and a 32 bit version available, so you can use it with Windows 3.1 as well as Windows 95 or NT. There are two so that UUPC will use the "regular" dialup connection when the phone line is free, and the TCP connection when I'm dialled up to my ISP.
