Set options=multitask and use the -m option on at least one UUPOLL to override the modem file used. It will automatically share the spool files but use unique log files, etc. -ahd- -- Drew Derbyshire UUPC/extended e-mail: software@kew.com Telephone: 617-641-3452 To sign off from uupc-info, send the command "signoff uupc-info" in the body of a message to listserv@kew.com. Yes, if you use shared disk for common spool and mail directories. it will not mix gracefully with MS-Mail or whatever without a gateway. -- Drew Derbyshire UUPC/extended e-mail: software@kew.com Telephone: 617-641-3452 To sign off from uupc-info, send the command "signoff uupc-info" in the body of a message to listserv@kew.com. The newsgroup is a simple linked list. Searches in it will take a linear amount of time, and newest groups will be added at the back. The newer the group, the longer time to insert. While it would be desirable to have a sorted list with a binary tree, support for such a large active file is not a priority because I really think it won't help 16 bit users (in particular, DOS users) anyway. It's an interesting problem, I'll look at it. -- Drew Derbyshire UUPC/extended e-mail: software@kew.com Telephone: 617-641-3452 To sign off from uupc-info, send the command "signoff uupc-info" in the body of a message to listserv@kew.com. This is not your problem. (Which is why it doesn't print if you don't turn up the debug.) This merely is reporting it can't find any other UUPC/extended listening on the pipe described, and continues without. The 1.11n version of program was built and tested on 3.5. The next version will be built on 3.51. The new mailing address is now in my e-mail header, and is valid immediately. (We're buying a house, and going to two offices from the current shared office.) I'm working on adding ISDN based on demand access to the Internet, but I seem unable to locate a cheap autodialing PPP black-box. I want either an OS/2 PPP or standalone box that when it gets a packet for the Internet provider, it dials automatically if the link is not up. the Best I can do is ~ 1500, which is about double my budget. The unit should NOT have a built in NT-1. I will also continue to have at least one analog modem line; I currently feed seven other UUCP sites within the kew.com domain, plus of course our anonymous download services.
