This will hopefully cause the remote system to use v or G. Each side has to setup for large incoming packets if using 'g'. So call the owner of the remote system and tell him you can take 512 packets. -ahd- -- Drew Derbyshire UUPC/extended e-mail: software@kew.com Telephone: 617-641-3452 To sign off from uupc-info, send the command "signoff uupc-info" in the body of a message to listserv@kew.com. Are there any differencies > in such software for NetWare and Lan Server networks ? There's SNUUPM (ftp://ftp.frd.ac.za/pub/msdos/snuupm), or THURN (ftp://ftp.wcape.school.za/pub/msdos/uucp); the two differ only in the news side. For networks there's UUPLAN ftp://risc.ua.edu/pub/network/pegasus/misc/uuplan12.zip which is designed for Netware or LANtastic, though it can probably be hacked to work on most types of LANs. UUPLAN will be revised when UUPC 1.12o is available, as Drew has made some changes which will allow the way it works to be simplified a fair bit. To: UUPC/Extended mailing list Hoi! I started examining UUPC's sources (although my knowledge of C is very minimal) and after some grepping I found out that IMPORT.C is the place to modify some code so that mail is stored in places (and with names) GIGO/Waffle understands. I started playing with fxMunge.c (found in the GIGO archive) and there is already some progress. :-] My questions: Where do I have to change code so the UUCICO can find out the grades of the mail in the spool directories? EXPORT.C should be the file to look for/put the reverse of all these changes. This file appears a bit cryptic to me. :-/ Is there anyone who can give a few hints/tips? Mostly, look at what import.c does to encrypt names, and match it to export.c. But you should have no reason to change export.c because of functional already existing. -- Drew Derbyshire UUPC/extended e-mail: software@kew.com Telephone: 617-641-3452 To sign off from uupc-info, send the command "signoff uupc-info" in the body of a message to listserv@kew.com.
